On routine patrol (that turns out to be anything but routine), two logical, fact-oriented police officers, John (Mac) MacQuinn and Kessyndra (Kess) Tamer, are brought through a portal into the world of Mystovia which is inhabited by Amazons, Elves, Sorcerers, mythical creatures and demons.

One of Mystovia's powerful Crystal Orbs, lost for many years, is found by a terrorist who is accidentally thrust into the alternate world of Mystovia.  The terrorist quickly discovers the magical potency of the Crystal Orb he possesses.   Undetected and unhindered, he would be able to move between the two worlds and carry out his schemes to terrorize and conquer not only Earth, but Mystovia as well.

Kess and Mac embark on perilous journeys to save Mystovia.  The officers are plunged into unknown dangers, as the terrorist opens the gates of the Dark Lords of Hvarth setting free its hoard of demonic forces.   After many dangerous adventures and battles Mac and Kess discover why they were brought into Mystovia.

       An Ankhourian warrior and a Dwarger were hurled into a portal to another dimension.  Mac and Kess embark on a journey to find their friends when they encounter a powerful demon, and when their magical powers collide there is a violent explosion causing Kess and Mac to be thrust into different dimensions.   

       Kess ends up in the Land Between and must undertake a perilous journey in an uncharted world.  She quickly finds out that pure magic has a bad habit of going awry, and that the Land Between is a world held together by magic and technology.  She encounters glowing, silvery beings who hold a secret that will affect her life forever.

       Mac finds himself in a dimension he’s quite familiar with – Earth.  He begins his search at a Star Trek convention during Halloween.  He must not only try and find his friends, but find and destroy a malevolent demon accidentally pulled into Earth’s dimension and is roaming the halls thirsting for a kill.
